This is the three dimensional structure from which everything else in my life flows be it three dimensional or two dimensional painting/drawing or be it writing. It surrounds me and gives me structure and support. It demands of me the endurance of a long distance runner. Within this structure I have worked and it has been 1 part creativity / spontaneity and 20-->100-->more parts labor. As much as I love the beauty , warmth of both materials; the resilience and strength of bronze ; the translucency and fragile permanence of the glass for now, for awhile the immediacy of inks and paint hold me. Right now for awhile I have put aside making sculpture. I will return to it. There are many more pieces yet to be made !
